Middle of the road 

There is organized prejudice everywhere
There are huge complexes of ill intentions
all are revolutionaries
and also victims of encroachment 
no one in their right place
move on each other
surpass each other

It is forbidden to walk on the middle of the road
Only the line of prohibition has gone through the middle
If you have to walk then just take the left.
or right side
there is no middle path 
there is no middle ground
Everyone is welcome
accident is invited

The direction in which the flow of people is moving 
there is hardly any way forward
Only one wall can be seen going far away 
There is a closed door ahead.
 There is no way out from here!

My feet are moving like time
while hands are tied
eyes closed
mind is closed
the speed is slow
There is conflict!

 मार्ग-मध्य 

जगह-जगह संगठित पूर्वाग्रह है

दुर्भावनाओं के बडे-बडे परिसर हैं

सभी अतिक्रान्ती हैं

और अतिक्रमण के शिकार भी 

कोई  भी अपनी सही जगह पर नहीं

एक-दूसरे पर बढे-चले

एक-दूसरे से बढ़चढ़कर है

रास्ते पर बीच से चलना मना है

बीच से सिर्फ वर्जना की लकीर गयी है

चलना भी है तो सिर्फ बाएं का

या फिर दाएं का

बीच का कोई  रास्ता ही नहीं है

कहीं कोई मार्ग मध्य में नहीं है

सभी ज्यों अभिमंत्रित हैं

दुर्घटना के आमंत्रित हैं 

जिस दिशा में बढ़ रहा है जन-प्रवाह 

आगे शायद ही कोई रास्ता हो

सिर्फ एक दीवार दूर तक जाती हुई दिखाई दे रही 

आगे दिख रहा एक  बंद-सा  दरवाजा है

 इधर से कोई  भी रास्ता नहीं जाता  है !

पैर तो समय की तरह चल रहा है

जबकि हाथ बंधे हैं

आंख बन्द है

दिमाग बन्द ।है

गति मन्द है

द्वन्द्व है !

Human birth

Human birth 

What is happening to  man
rebirth in human body 
so human brain 
human mind 
human self realization 
And his qualitative abilities will also be there.  

Will come back again and again
reproducer of life
same chromosome 
same habits
same circumstances 
bound by physical, chemical and biological laws
in this repetitive universe
and species 
as a multidimensional being
Like innumerable words made from the same alphabet
Will repeat it again and again...

Something like this
monomorphic species
naked body of a naga sadhu
a priest's braid
And sponsored by some mullah 
and take the form of a specialized beard
Will continue to pretend that man is nowhere!

giving the impression that
in a straight forward manner
He is shy of being a human being...
You are afraid of being called a human being and of living...

मानुष जन्म 

हो रहा है मनुष्य का

मनुष्य की देह में पुनर्जन्म 

तो मनुष्य के दिमाग 

मनुष्य के मन 

मनुष्य के आत्मबोध 

और उसकी गुणात्मक क्षमताओं का भी होगा ही.  

बार-बार लौट आएंगे

जीवन के पुनरूत्पादक

वही-वही गुण-सूत्र 

वही-वही आदतें

वही-वही परिस्थितियाँ 

भौतिक,रासायनिक और जैविक नियमों से बंधे

इस आवृत्तिमय  ब्रह्मांड में

और प्रजाति के 

बहुआयामी अस्तित्व के रुप में

उसे ही वर्णमााला से बने असंख्य शब्दों  की तरह

बार-बार उसे ही दोहराएंगे ....

कुछ इस तरह कि

एक ही बहुरूपिया प्रजाति

किसी नागा साधु  की नंगी देह

किसी पंडित की चोटी

और किसी मुल्ला की प्रायोजित 

और विशेषीकृत दाढी का रूप  ले

मनुष्य के कहीं न होने का स्वांग भरती रहेगी  !

कुुछ ऐसा प्रतीत कराती हुई  कि

सीधे-सच्चे रंग और ढंग से

वह मनुष्य होने से ही शर्माता हो.....

मनुुष्य कहलाने  और जीने से ही डरता हो...

In history and narrative 

It is difficult to find out

At what time, sitting on the back of which donkey, horse or human being? 

His glorious procession is about to leave! 

Still guessing! May go....

In the story of Mahabharata he

Sometimes Kansa, sometimes Kalayavan and sometimes

sitting inside Duryodhana 

Krishna to become God 

appears provocative 

Whereas in Ramayana from his side 

natural favor and favor of all opulence 

Like it was only for Ravana...

Ram and Krishna got it from Ravana and Duryodhana. 

Only in response to divine attacks and counterattacks

Institutional God reminds us of resistance

सच का ईश्वर

इतिहास और आख्यान में 

यह पता लगाया जा सकना मुश्किल ही है

कि किस समय किस गधे ,घोड़े या मनुष्य की पीठ  पर बैठकर 

निकल रही हो चुकी होती है उसकी ऐश्वर्यमयी शोभायात्रा! 

फिर भी अनुमान लगाया! जा सकता है....

महाभारत के आख्यान में वह मुझे

कभी कंस,कभी कालयवन  तो कभी

दुर्योधन के भीतर यैठकर 

कृष्ण को ईश्वर बनने के लिए 

उकसाता-ललकारता दिखाई देता है 

जबकि रामायण में उसकी ओर से 

सारे ऐश्वर्य का नैसर्गिक समर्थन और पक्षपात 

जैसे सिर्फ रावण के लिए  ही था....

राम और कृष्ण तो रावण और दुर्योधन से प्राप्त 

ईश्वरीय घातों और प्रतिघातों  का प्रत्युत्तर  देते हुए ही

प्रतिरोध  की ईश्वरता पा गए....

राम और कृष्ण को यह पता था

कि हर घटना के सूत्रधार के आस-पास ही

अपने छिपे उद्देश्यों के साथ 

क्रिया-प्रतिक्रिया,घटना-दुर्घटना के आरम्भकर्ता के रूप में

हुआ करता है नियति का  ईश्वर 

जिसे ही वे दैव की इच्छा 

यानी विधाता का विधान समझते रहे....

लोक को भी कोई भ्रम न रहे

आश्वस्त और सुखी दिखते क्षणों में ही 

बुरी तरह अपमानित कर

दोनों ही धरती के रंगमंच से 

छिपी युक्तियों द्वारा वापस बुला लिए  गए 

पुरूषार्थ और प्रतिरोध से अर्जित 

अपनें लोकविश्रुत ऐश्वर्य से निश्क्रमित 

और बावजूद.....

अनुचर -आज्ञाकारी  बेचारा गांधी भी तो

भ्रम में पड़े भक्त की तरह मुफ्त में मारा गया

जबकि प्रचार के पीछे और परदे के छिपाव से अलग

ईश्वर मानवता की आजादी के लिए नहीं बल्कि 

दूरगामी  विभाजन की योजना के अन्तर्गत 

जिन्ना और गोड़से  को परिमार्जित करने की योजना में 

लगा हुआ था

इसतरह जब भी मैं

ईश्वरीय समझे जाने वाले

आख्यानों के बारे में सोचता हूँ 

मैं यह देखकर आश्चर्य चकित रह जाता हूँ कि

प्रचलित विज्ञप्तियों से अलग 

कई बार समय का ईश्वर 

सुख के उत्सव में मंथरा जैसे 

किसी अदनें से निर्णायक चरित्र में 

अत्यंत गम्भीर चतुराई के साथ 

छिपा बैठा होता है...

अनेक बार कड़े  पहरे और परदों के बीच 

यत्न से छुपाई गयी

उन निरीह बंदी सुंदरियों में भी

जिनके मुस्कान से विचलित होकर 

या जिनके आंसुओ में डूबकर मर जाती थीं बहादुर सेनाएं ..

सम्मानित प्रवर्तक  नें  तो उसपर पूरा विश्वास किया था

लेकिन उसने प्रवर्तक को कभी नहीं बताया कि

उसका असली मकसद ऐसे हत्यारों की फौज तैयार करना है

जिसमें सभी आत्मरक्षा के नाम पर 

एक-दूसरे की हत्याएं और युद्ध करेंगे

उसनें प्रवर्तक को यह कभी नहीं बताया कि 

उसकी योजना में उसके ही वंशजों की बलि चढाई जानी है ।

जीवन की नई-नई  चुनौतियों का सामना करने के लिए 

संस्थागत ईश्वर प्रतिरोध की स्मृति  तो देता है

लेकिन अपने पिछड़ेपन को स्वीकारने के साथ 

एक न॓ए अद्यतन नेतृत्व की प्रतीक्षा में ...

I can't believe

something good also happens

I can't believe it 

can't believe that

In this world 

there are good people too

a long narrow tunnel and

between many intersections 

time lost in itself

has gone astray

someone even cries

so I don't know

that the one crying is crying with sadness

Or cleverly...

that before being a consumer

all are humans too 

And just for the sake of profit 

taking them into confidence 

cheating with them 

should not be done 

can not believe

that i can still write

[कुछ अच्छा भी होता  है

तो विश्वास नहीं होता 

विश्वास नहीं होता कि

इस दुनिया में 

अच्छे लोग भी हैं

एक लंबी तंग सुरंग और

कई चौराहों के बीच 

अपनें में ही खोया हुआ  समय

भटक गया है

कोई रोता भी है

तो पता नहीं चलता

कि रोने वाला दुख से रो रहा है

या चालाकी से .....

कि उपभोक्ता होने से पहले

सभी मनुष्य भी हैं 

और केवल फायदे के लिए 

उन्हें विश्वास में लेकर 

उनके साथ धोखे का धन्धा 

नहीं किया जाना चाहिए 

विश्वास नहीं होता

कि अब भी मैं लिख सकता हूँ 

एगासस-पेगासस  डरे शासक 

के बावजूद !

Sense of sight

Sense of sight

I am also a dreamer of the future

I am cursed in the sense that

I also have an imaginary present 

who keeps rejecting the real present

Although it is true that

I follow the natural flow of memories

Thought speed until inertia is no longer necessary

I am in favor of giving prima facie respect. 

But not in favor of accepting without thinking 

  I agree with this 

that in most of our cultural stories

Regulatory habits of power of past conquerors 

And their cultural and practical roots are hidden

their collective selfishness and manipulations 

But every previous generation lived 

it would be 100% wrong

I am not ready to accept this

Because man of every age 

the circumstances and reality of our era

has been conscious and endeavoring to encroach 

I can attest to his immense creative power.

I am fascinated by the diverse and numerous languages of the world. 

I listen to his unimaginable and unexpected ragas and tunes and am amazed. 

and were created by him for his tongue 

Also on music of taste

Who has created a parallel world of dishes 

And skin created as clothes... 

Despite time-related helplessness and mortality 

From the existence of generations and meaningful creation 

Have tried to conquer time and mortality

she filled the silence

Have discovered pleasant sounds pleasant to the ear

and seem meaningless and unreasonable

many ridiculous customs

Lived for centuries with collective laughter 

His every deviation 

His new creations that have been lived in the past and

His created ideas for living and 

Give details of options

Mankind that ranges from healthy-disciplined cells to

struggling for its existence

Even now I can't find him in a museum or a cemetery.

दृष्टिबोध

एक भविष्य का स्वप्नदर्शी हूॅ मैं भी

अभिशप्त हूॅ मैं इस अर्थ में कि

मेरे पास भी है एक काल्पनिक वर्तमान 

जो वास्तविक वर्तमान को खारिज करता रहता है

यद्यपि यह सच है कि

मैं स्मृतियों के स्वाभाविक प्रवाह के

वैचारिक गति जड़त्व का आवश्यक न होने तक

प्रथम द्रष्ट्या सम्मान करने के पक्ष में हूॅ 

लेकिन बिना सोचे-समझे स्वीकार करने के पक्ष में नहीं 

 मैं इससे सहमत हूॅ 

कि हमारी अधिकांश सांस्कृतिक कहानियों में

अतीत के विजेताओं की सत्ता की नियामक आदतें 

और उनकी सांस्कारिक और व्यावहारिक जडताएं छिपी हैं

उनके सामूहिक स्वार्थ और चालाकियाॅ भी 

लेकिन पूर्व पीढ़ी का हर पिछला जिया 

शत प्रतिशत गलत ही होगा

यह मानने के लिए मै  तैयार नहीं

क्योंकि हर  युग का मनुष्य 

अपने युग की परिस्थितियों और यथार्थ को

अतिक्रमित करने के लिए सचेष्ट  और प्रयत्नशील रहा है 

मै उसकी अपार सृजनशक्ति को सत्यापित करती

दुनिया की विविध और बहुसबहुसंख्य भाषाओं पर रीझता हूँ 

मै उसकी अकल्पनीय और अप्रत्याशित रागों और धुनों को सुनता हूॅ और चकित होता हूँ 

और अपनी जिह्वा के लिए उसके द्वारा रचे गए 

स्वाद के संगीतों पर भी

जिसने व्यंजनों का समानानतर संसार  ही रच डाला है 

और वस्त्रों के रूप में सृजित त्वचा ..... 

समय-सापेक्ष निरीहताओं और मरणधर्मिता के बावजूद 

उसने पीढियों के अस्तित्व और सार्थक सृजन से 

समय और नश्वरता को जीतने की कोशिश की है

उसने सननाटो को भर देने वाली

कर्णप्रिय सुखद ध्वनियां अन्वेषित की हैं

और अर्थहीन-औचित्यहीन प्रतीति देने वाले

अनेक हास्यास्पद रीति-रिवाजों को

सामूहिक ठहाके लगाते हुए सदियों से सदियों तक जिया है 

उसके हर भटकाव 

अतीत में जिए जा चुके उसके नए-नए रचावों और

जीने के लिए उसकी सृजित परिकल्पनाओं एवं 

विकल्पों का पता देते हैं

मानवजाति जो स्वस्थ-अनुशासित कशिकाओं से लेकर 

अनुशासनहीन-अराजक विकृत कोशिकाओं तक

अपने अस्तित्व के लिए संघर्ष कर रही है

सामान्य-सर्वमान्य से असामान्य-विक्षिप्त मन वाले जन तक

अब भी मैं उसे किसी संग्रहालय या कब्रिस्तान में 

लावारिस फेंके शिशु की तरह 

एक आश्वस्तकारी मुस्कान की प्रतीक्षा और पुकार में 

रोते हुए पाता हूॅ ।

keeps happening

Generations pass

Understanding the good and bad consequences of past events

to find out 

that they were from the hero of creation

Or from the villain!

God who never in his desires and behavior

Appears

So sometimes in the desires and behavior of others

and which never had a definite face 

that he ranges from a manufacturer of destructive weapons 

medicine to treat a serious disease

By making each other fight in increasing competition and tension

अस्तित्व का नियोजन 

कोई भी उदासीन और तटस्थ नही है

यहाॅ तक कि ईश्वर भी

ईश्वर जो इतिहास का संतुलनकारी विवेक है

संतुलनकारी हस्तक्षेप है

जीवन के पक्ष में  निर्मित और सक्रिय 

पर्यावरण है

उसकी इच्छाएं 

इतिहास में कूट-प्रायोजित घटना॓ओं

और दुर्घटनाओं में

उनकी निर्णायकता के समानुपात में 

घटित होती रहती हैं

पीढियां बीत जाती हैं

पूर्व घटित के अच्छे और  बुरे परिणाम बूझनें में

इसका पता लगाने में 

कि वे सृष्टि के नायक की ओर से थीं

या कि खलनायक की ओर से !

ईश्वर जो कभी अपनी इच्छाओं और व्यवहार में

प्रकट होता है

तो कभी दूसरों की इच्छाओं और व्यवहार में

और जिसका कोई निश्चित चेहरा कभी नहीं रहा 

कि वह विध्वंसक हथियारों के निर्माता से लेकर 

किसी गमभीर रोग का इलाज करने वाली दवा के

महत्वपूर्ण खोजकर्ता की भूमिका में भी हो सकता है 

उन कौमों को घटते संसाधनों के साथ 

बढ़ती प्रतिस्पर्धा और तनाव में  परस्पर लड़वाकर

जनसंख्या कम करने का सपना देखने वाले 

किसी अदृश्य साजिशकर्ता के रूप में भी

जो कहती हैं कि नसबंदी की युक्ति  और मामला

उसकी  इच्छा में शामिल नहीं हैं ।
